Ballybeg House Wedding
Ballybeg House Spring Wedding – I marked the end of Spring this year with a wonderful couple, Susan and Tom. They celebrated their wedding day in Ballybeg House in Co. Wicklow. A beautiful location.
From the moment I arrived into the grounds and gardens at Ballybeg House, I could sense the excitement in the air. Susan and Tom were so relaxed and the theme of their morning was fun and laughter! It’s great to see a couple so relaxed and happy as they prepare to exchange their wedding day vows.
Susan was busy getting ready with her bridesmaids and the champagne was popping as I arrived. Blending into the background, I got to capture her preparations, the beautiful details of her dress and accessories and the reaction of her family and friends as she transformed into a stunning bride.
I met the groom chilling out in the outdoor hot tub! He was enjoying a sip of Paddy Powers with his family and friends. What a way to salute the start of an amazing day!
They had an intimate wedding in the medieval ceremony room. Its rustic stonework, stained glass windows and open fires make it a very romantic space. A beautiful location to become man and wife, in front of the people that you love the most in the world.
From there, we got to enjoy the incredible grounds of Ballybeg House. The rustic shebeen was the perfect location to capture some romantic moments for Susan and Tom. The rugged brick, aged gateways and archways created a beautiful backdrop to make their wedding day photo shoot unique to them. It reflected their vision for their wedding day.
Stepping into Susan and Toms Victorian Marquee was breath taking. The interior of the marquee has a distinct Victorian style, complete with lace curtains, draped ceilings, chandeliers and a beautiful wooden floor. Susan and Tom put so much work into the finishing touches. I love looking for the prefect photographs to capture all the effort that went into making their wedding day banquet so special.
Susan and Tom had a lovely idea of having their guests surround them with sparklers when the sun had set. It was great fun to capture this for such an incredible couple. It was the perfect way to celebrate the wonderful spark between this special couple.
Thank you, Susan and Tom, for allowing me to be part of your wonderful wedding day.
