Wedding at The Palmerstown Estate. There is something very magical about a wedding at Christmas and when Laura and Ciaran contacted me. I was really looking forward to capturing their big day.
When I arrived to meet the beautiful bride that morning in the Palmerstown Estate. I was blown away by the venue itself. The staircases and fireplaces were covered in gorgeous decorations and there was a wonderful sense of excitement in the air. Christmas trees and garlands decorated the rooms and with stunning views across the grounds, I knew that they had chosen an incredible backdrop for their wedding day.
Beautiful bride
Laura greeted me with a huge smile and I took lovely photographs as she got ready with her five bridesmaids. With the pop of a champagne cork and giggles of excitement all around, the nerves faded away and I was delighted to see her enjoy a relaxed morning with her family and friends.
As the groom and guests waited for the bridal party, I was in a prime position for Laura’s arrival. She took everyone’s breath away as she walked up the aisle and getting to photograph Ciaran and Laura as they exchanged their vows, was an absolute privilege. Their smiles lit up the room and capturing the giddy glances that they exchanged during the ceremony made my day.
Returning to the Palmerstown Estate for the reception, we walked the grounds to take their first photographs as husband and wife. The stunning views complimented this beautiful couple perfectly and we had so many locations to choose from. The sun set across the estate as we took the final wedding photographs outside and I was delighted to see them enjoy a quiet moment together before the festivities began.
Laughter and tears
There was laughter and tears throughout the speeches and the party started after Ciaran and Laura’s first dance. The first of many.
It was so special to be part of Ciaran and Laura’s wedding day. I wish them all the best as they start their married lives together.
