I love recommending The Station House Hotel
for wedding couples that are looking for something a little bit different and who want to get married in Meath. It is a converted railway station that boasts old world charm. The dining room was once an engine room and workshop and the stone turntable (where the trains used to turn around) has been transformed into space for your special wedding ceremony. The Mill House is Slane
Last but by no means least, I had to include The Mill House is Slane. The Mill itself has been transformed into a rustic venue for your wedding ceremony and a short walk across the square brings you through to the old house itself. Your wedding day feast will take place in the Pavilion with the option of a marquee to invite lots more people to your wedding day party!
The banks of the river Boyne make a beautiful backdrop to your wedding photographs here in this famous part of Co. Meath. It’s warm and charming and I have always enjoyed taking wedding photographers at this gem in Co. Meath.
